A few months ago, I had the opportunity to hear Cindy West talk about her living math concept during an online conference. I was intrigued and wrote tons of notes. Her suggestion is to work in your math workbook 3 days a week and do living math on the other two days, to supplement your teaching with practical application. And the ideas she talked about were great ones.
